This is a new twist to a timed mahjong game. For example, I couldn't figure out how I'd achieved a 7 x combo or why, after perfect execution, I did not receive a gold star in expert mode.

If you make matches continuously without too long of a pause, each match goes up from 1 x combo to however many matches required to clear a given board.

If you pause too long, you return to 1 x combo. Also, there are many tile faces to choose from, and the tiles are large enough even for my poor eye sight.

I do not listen to the music provided, but found that the audio ping provided when making a match lets me know if I've paused too long without taking my eyes off the board.

There are many goals to achieve and hundreds of boards. I highly recommend this game, and I never write a review until I've played a game for fifty hours or more.

I find this one to be less than helpful about moving around in the game. Like Zen itself, it leaves a lot to experimentation and self-acquisition of knowledge.
